Boogietraxx and I have been living in parallel worlds for a number of years. Though we traveled in the same circles when he was living in Philly, we haven't really connected in person as much as I wanted to. That said, when he moved to Austin, Texas, there was a huge turning point in his output. We became closer during this pandemic, since we were both trying to keep our spirits high during devastating times. Over the last 4 years, Boogietraxx became a very prolific producer and significantly upped his DJing abilities. Boogietraxx is a perfect example of how hard work pays off.

Though known for his updated take on the French House style--using classic samples and flipping them into catchy bangers--for this APA mix, Boogietraxx digged deep and contributed a hype, momentous blend of classic disco, disco edits, and his own infamous production style.

I can't imagine listening to this without a huge disco ball. Enjoy kicking off 2022 with a serious amount of funk!
