When I first met Aypvpi back in 2019, he was a memorable person as soon as I met him. First impression, he dresses very loudly. Second impression, he's a great dancer. As you can imagine, this is the type of energy that helps any party atmosphere. He was a mutual friend of APA regular Val, so it was easy to connect right away. This was back when we were doing APA parties at Silk City pre pandemic. Once the pandemic hit, we lost touch for a bit.
We eventually reconnected on social media, and I noticed he had been almost non stop playing after parties and unique warehouse setting gigs around Philly. He certainly had been practicing, but I still hadn't seen him spin live yet. I felt his vibe was just right for APA, so I booked him to play our January 2023 APA party.
Well, he blew the roof off with a very bangin', jackin' tech house set. And of course, he was dressed to impress. After I heard that, I of course had to ask him to do a podcast for our APA series.
This month, Ayopvpi delivers a fun-side-of tech house mix for your listening pleasure.
